We might be crazy . . .

. . . but a mere week into our househunting adventure, we made an offer on a condo.

And it was accepted! =:-O

Of course, my life would be nothing without Murphy's Law, so really anything can happen to screw this up, but for now it appears that we will be closing at the end of July. (Excuse me while I freak out for a second, suddenly realizing that this means MOVING by the end of July! Like I said, we might be crazy.)

Regardless of the upheaval and chaos looming on the very near horizon, the hub and I are giddy with excitement over this new chapter in our lives. Okay, to be honest, I'm giddy. He's just trying to keep me away from the Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware catalogs until we're actually in the place and somewhat recovered from the major hit to our finances.

Cross your fingers that nothing wonky happens between now and next month!

Hey hey Tina! We will probably be in household moving turmoil at the same time!

I hope all goes well, and there are no glitches! (Okay, now you wish me the same!)

Congrats on the new place Tina!!! Way cool :-) LOL re John keeping you away from Resoration Hardware catalogues. I LOVE that place - fortunately, there isn't one here in my home town or our bank account would be much smaller *vbg*.

Hi, Teresa! :)

Thanks for the congrats! We're very excited, and we can't wait to be in the new place. Right now we're looking at appliances, as the current ones are a bit old and have been well-worn by the sellers and their SEVEN KIDS! Yes. S-E-V-E-N. =:-O And I have my hands full with a husband and two cats?! Yikes.

SEVEN kids! Wow. I hear you loud and clear - and I only have ONE cat *vbg*. New appliances are always fun. We bought a gas stove a few years back and I LOVE it :-)
